Hey all,
Really just a head's up that the underwriters for Arista have increase the premium's for all under 40's.
Last year my premium was $440. I just got a renewal invoice for $570.
That's a 30% increase, and the nice lady on the phone said that some have increased by 40%.
So just be warned if you're with Arista that your next renewal may cost more than you expect. Still cheaper than much else I think, but it was a suprise to me.

Crikey!!! Fortunately they won't insure my 750 as i've only been on my blacks for a month
.
3rd party property is what i've got..... Though i think i might call AAMI and see if they'll be more friendly to me.

AAMI wouldnt know the meaning of the word 'friendly'. From my experience AAMI are the worst insurer if you need to make a claim. I have never and will never insure with them no matter what they charge.
There is no definite 'cheapest' insurer, they all vary from year to year and bike to bike - Ring all of the insurers for a quote.

I was only thinking AAMI for their 3rd party with fire & theft option. Which would have me covered on all the bases. If i write the bike off & damage me i have medical insurance anyhoo and it *is* a 3.5k bike, max.
But the general concencus is that 90% of companies are like stones when it comes to getting blood (money) out of them....
Might stick with NRMA until i've done my year.

Just spoke to Arista to get a Quote..
This is the explanation I was given... Arista have updated their pricing which is the first time in 3 years (Hence the 30-40% increases), which is why they've been so cheap...
