What do you require out of a course??
Toprider do one these days out of mt cotton you learn to stop and you learn to go around a corner, i did like a level one course it was okay but the class was a bit big and i thought a lot of it was pretty basic like great if your on your first bike and in the first six months or earlier of riding.
would it be more road skills or more track skills that you require??
I did a day with a coach at a champions ride day it was great and the class was smaller like 4 or 5 of us in the group and he went through a few things track focused for half the day and spent the rest either behind you or in front of you towing you around and showing diferent lines and stuff.
Or you can follow red leader to pi you will learn plenty there.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

yeh run by the same bloke that was doing the darlington park ride days/cournering courses the mount cotton one.
Well the choice is easy do the Qld raceway one, cost is 150 for the course plus 125 (trakdaze discount)for a weekend champions day and i thought money well spent actually.
Go to the champions site and ring and find out who the instructor is ring and book and explain that your new to track daying and want to do a course and your away, geez you didnt look slow and wobbly last time i saw you on the road.
They start earlier than the reguler guys and do a track walk and talk about turn points and stuff and you go out as a class rather than as a graded group and they have a few diferent things to do earlier in the day.
By about the third session you are ready for a good fang anyway and the instructer comes around to see what you are doing and you can chase him around for a bit and he will let you know whats going on.

No pat they where the toprider courses that where run at darlington park which is now closed.
I think you can do a stay upright course as well but its also at mt cotton, the venue may be fine for training truck drivers on the use and abuse of b double trucks but probably not the best for a bike.

Pete's QR sounds like the go Pat. I may even go myself if they are that quiet. The Toprider one we did over a year ago was a big group & we didnt get as much tuition time as i would of hoped. Still learnt heaps But i dont think any B&C course would be a waste of money.
Cheers Brett

I was gonna go last year with toprider for the break and cornering... the course was cancelled as the yocals had therre way with the track and it got closed
Been wanting to do a course still..
Looks like the stay upright advanced course would be ideal for me..
n e 1 been on that 1? 270 doesn't sound too bad..
Is mt cotton circuit a pretty deccent one ? (safe and not too many ripples?)
Thanx
Martin
