mechanic in melbourne

Post by seraph »

hey troopers, I rode my zzr250 down from brisbane to melbourne and I need a major service in the next few days before I hit the great ocean road and then the massive ride back home. can someone suggest a good mechnaic who won't fuck me over? directions and a phone number would be great :) also I need to pick up some motorcycle boots, so a good accessories store (directions please? ;) big city, no sense of direction) if anyone wants to go for a ride on the GOR with me, shoot me a pm by the way, I'll probably go wednesday-thursday, but am negotiable ;) beer is good too :D cheers -J.

The Guy who runs the workshop there is a nice guy. He has done some things for me over the last year, and have had no problems and all was done as per request and in good time for not too much dough.

They don't have the best range of accesories though. Peter Stevens on Elizabeth st in the city is one of the best for accesories range. HTH

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

Hey Neka, I may be in adelaide tomorrow night, unless I get no sleep tonight and am too tired to ride the whole way ;) Do you lads want to go out for some beer and stickball tomorrow night? I might be able to drag the kid with me aswell, since he's on the way :D I would definitely appreciate a patch of floor to sleep on too :D

Cheers for the advice on mechanics too, folks :) -J.

It's probably too late but in the Northern burbs Stafford Yamaha are very good. http://www.staffordmotorcycles.com.au/

Stay away from Redwing Honda. They hate Kawasakis and make a point of treating Kawasaki riders with contempt. :D
