Yes, it is only $2k to repair from a drop as opposed to $4k
Have seen some full fairing kits for these, look pretty swish...but I don't think I'll be doing anything beyond (maybe) getting a rack for it...

i had the lower belly pan on the vtr..cost abt $1k painted ...it looked pretty cool tho...pic here...sorry i cant resize it..dunno how...
