Laughter is the Best Medicine. Its true.

Job # 1 - When you get there, just continually imagine to yourself that your boss is being slowly eaten by one of those bugs out of Starship Troopers.

Works for me every time.

Job # 2 - This time, your Boss is being gang-banged on a mega-turntable by the Village People, high-rotation style........

You can find humour in the silliest things, and a good laugh is actually therapeutic..........it releases some type of hormone or pheremone or *something* into your brain.........

Stick to your guns mate, you'll get there......

What do you do in a situation like this?
All the usual things arent working.......
Have a wander around the kid's ward at your local hospital.
It might not make you feel better but at least you'd have realised you've got fcuk all to worry about. 8)

yea its been spoken abt on the news etc that sum ppl dont create enough seratonin which is wot makes u feel happy..i deal with this everyday cos Chloe's brain doesnt produce it at all, so she suffers from really bad depression if she doesnt take her synthetic stuff..ive also had a few doses of depression over the years, and that why i recomend excersise...it helps me feel good...

i also have a rule i try to live by which goes sumthin like this...
everyday i must do one of these
-make sum1 laugh
-go somewhere ive never been b4
-talk to sum1 ive never spoken to b4
-do sumthin ive never done b4

i can cover most of these in a day at work....but the one i get most enjoyment out of is the "make sum1 laugh" one...im sure theres been a few days even on here, wen sum1 has read my post & got a giggle out of it..and if they have..ive done my job..to the best of my ability...

but..failing that..watch a video of sum clown hurting himself..why do we all laugh at that??

A fang on the bike cures most ills, but isn't always possible. Taking out fustration on weights can help and has the fitness effect. Humming Pink Floyd has a calming effect and playing the drums at excessive volume is a real bute.

Seriously, if things are really getting to you follow this simple guide.

Take two sheets of paper, label 1 as "Can Change" and 1 as "Can't Change".

Write down all the things that are worrying/concerning/depressing you, and put them on the respective piece of paper. Interest rates will now be on the "Can't Change" page as there is f*ck all you can do about them.

Now here's the good bit, screw up the peice of paper labeled "Can't change" and recycle it. Now concenterate on the thing you can change. No point stressing over something you can do nothing about.

listening to old school metal will help cheer you up.

I reccomend "kickstart my heart" - motley crue, "paradise city" - guns n roses. "Space truckin" - Deep purple, "Ramble On" - Led Zep.

Try it you will be surprised. i think it must remind your brain of easier times or some shit.

Maybe its just me :)

Let em know at work your "hanging in there" mate. I tell em "na sorry cant do that today" all the time ... now. Pity i had to have a "brain poppage" to get some self preservation skills. Dont let the barstages get more then they are entitled too.
I take something i'm happy about today in my mind to sleep.

Back on topic, wasn't "it's the little things" an Alice Cooper track from Brutal Planet?
