Can you spraypaint

Post by les2010 »

Ok peeples, it's time to dig down deep and do a mate a favour, got the quote for the repairs to my baby and they came up with $300, not bad I reckon, then I ask them how much to spray her all one color, I want her black as black can be or green, all one colour, no metallic paint, now I know it's not cheap and i'm not a cheap bastard but c'mon $2000 to respray just the top, sides and tail, shit I had my car done for that, if anyone has any talent (no offence to first timers) i'm willing to pay but screw that amount, so anyone got a weekend or a few days free to come up, i'll supply the sandpaper, paint, primer, compressor and hose, all you have to bring is a gun as I don't have one, you get bed, all the food you can stuff down your throat and beer, you can either post here or pm me for a time frame.

Yep she's rideable, but a trip to Addy again, ,that's what caused this in the first place, seriously tho, i'm getting price on the paint next week, shouldn't need more than 2 litres of paint and 4 of thinners and all the other stuff, if needs be I can get prices in Addy for the stuff. I reckon she'll look funny in black with green wheels tho  .
I'll pm ya when I get the prices and thanks big time Neka.

I did the same thing when I put down 100 square metres of tiles. Had never put down a tile in my life. Got a quote to lay them and the quote was anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000. The tiles were $3,500.

I figured that if I stuffed up, I could afford to rip them all up and start again and I'd still be in front.
