Stop it....

Post by aardvark »

I go away overnight for work, get home and there's 3 pages of crap to read through. Some of you good folk need to go outside and play on the swings or something.

And for those of you stuck in an office this week, this is what I did.

Still the old BM's down there huh? They are using Honda ST's up here.

Either way they are still easy to outrun..... :P

Came in via the Barrier Hwy. Dead boring bit of road and fuck all traffic. In fact, fuck all of anything. No traffic, no trees, no sound, no normal people with proper teeth....

What is a SA copper doing in Broken Hill? Showing the local boys how to do their job properly? :D
Cheers,

Es,

Working the Barrier Hwy up to the border. The only place to stay when you get that far, is Broken Hill. I don't think the Sydney bike cops make the 1200 kay trip to BH very often.

Jase, when I was talking to the lovely porrice man as he wrote me my compulsory contribution to the policemans ball notice, he was saying they don't use the beemers up here cause they have had a shitload of drama down south with em when it comes to parts & shit, could he be telling the truth? he also reakoned they cost nearly 3 times as much as the hon, hooon, hoooond......goldwings with blue lights, to service & maintain, would he be close to the mark or full of shit?
Hemi, have you seen how the coppers ride them fuken st's  I reakon I could outrun them on a motocross track too, dunno bout the road tho..........& fuk me them radios r mighty fast too!!!!!!! DOHHHHH!!!!!

We don't have any dramas with the beemers. In fact, we get looked after really well by the local BMW dealer. The beemers are big, comfy, have good sized panniers, heated grips and look professional.

They are only about 30 grand each, which is hardly 3 times the cost of an ST.

The recently re-tendered the contract. A big range of bikes was tested and the beemer came out on top. Again.

I've just spent 20+ hours in the saddle out in around 40 degree heat. Don't think I'd want to do it on anything else. (Maybe a Goldwing/// with a/c  )
