Bike service in Syd

Post by Wattie »

My bike is a little overdue for its 6000K service. i was going to do it myself, as im a bit of a do it yourself kinda bloke...
but, im thinkin the warranty wont like it.

just got quoted just under $400
for a minor service, apparently oil change and grease and so on.

who can i get to service my bike and still keep warranty??

Give Narellan Kawasaki a call..

Alternatively, I'm getting mine serviced by Pro Tune on Wednesday (I booked it prior to Narellan coming on board).
They are a mobile mechanic and quoted me $250 for a 6000 k service...

yep $400 to change the oil and filter and "Inspect" a few things sure does suck.

i just did the 6000 on mine and thats what i got stung for.

the only reason i let them do it cause of the warranty.
as soon as the warranty is up im doing all the minor services myself and sending it in for the harder stuff.

I have heard real good things about RB racing in caringbah but i have no idea what they are like price wise.

ask madhatter, hes gone there.

but theres another place colette goes to who knows his stuff and is good on prices. They are on the same road as the speed camera, heading to shark park.

let me put it this way. mcas wanted $50 for thr 5 gm plastex kit, got it for $29.95 from these caringbah guys :). Also gotten free advice from the mechanics over the phone now & then. (i said i wasnt after a diagnosis over the phone, just a rough direction to go to next, seemed pretty good thus far :) .

Castle hill motorcycle repairs, ask for mick.

Mine was $160 (6000k), and they stamp your book.

Also, Narellan Kawa said they would do us a deal, I am going to try them next service.
