Centre Stand
Well what fun I had today NOT went down to see my cousin and riding back over the Bolty I hear Kermie making these pinging sounds of course I shit not knowing what it was cause he was still running as good as he does. So pulled over thought something come loose only to notice the centre stand dragging long the ground. The spring had come off. Has this happened to many people b4?

Just changed the spring on y stand Lainie so not unusual at all I reckon. Last spring held 10 years I reckon and this one should be longer, don't use it a lot
Anyways, not looking to keep this bike for 10 years so once is sold it becomes someone elses prob.

I gotta disagree wit the abocve statment, sure it will remove some weight (fuck al in the scheme of things really) but if you run a chain driven bike then they're pretty much indispensable unless you want to lash out for a race stand.mrmina wrote:Laine its nothing to worry about.

F'n hard to service a chain on a side stand.
