If my memory serves me correctly (and it usually does), when I went and listened to JB speak last year, he mentioned something about Rossi having an ex-g/f who lives/lived in Adelaide.

And it was reported a couple of years ago that he was dating a ballerina.

Besides that, if you were arguably the most famous motorcycle racer in the world, enjoying (or not) the public attention that he does, would you really want everyone to know who your girlfriend was? Imagine how harassed and photographed she would become. Then there is the fact that he is never around....

I have it on good authority (the MotoGenius book on Val that I got for Christmas.....

) that he dates women every now and then, but it never seems to last more than a couple of months because of the lifestyle they lead i.e. if you don't have a full-time girlfriend who travels with you everywhere you go, it's pretty hard to find a girl who can just pick up and leave her life every time you go to a different country.

They had a picture of a couple of girls he's 'brought' to various races, and he tells a few stories about girlfriends in the book.

And, if he is gay - he's the best gay/hetero/whatever rider the world's ever seen. Who cares?
