yup, i think every bike ive ever sat on (an im a light weight) has squatted
to sum degree....if u hold the front brake & push on it does the front end
(forks) give?? if they dont, it means the front is way stiff, if it does,
then it may be ok...put ur hand on the rear seat (pillion) & apply pressure,
whilst standin beside the bike..does it give at all?? i believe the static
sag figures (wen u sit on the bike not moving) is sumthin like 25mm??
remebering that the further u go from the centre , the easier it is to use
force (torque etc), so by using the rear seat ud get an idea of the
stiffness of the rear...thats how id do it...or just sit on it & jump up &
down & see how hard it is

The "Big Salesman" at Whales told me today you can change the rear linkages to lower seat height ? , the old mechanic said yep we do it for drag bikes (not really want we want now is it) .... needless to say Folks PLEASE stick your heads up your Rears and let me know which models have a spacer above the Mono Shock.
This stuff is real important to we we folk .

Yoink .... hijack back ..... Duane Leave Ratmick an his Arse alone :D

'02 ZX6R has a 5mm Spacer above rear Shock .... should get about 15mm outta seat height by removing it and sliding the forks.

And Janelle wants a RED one.
