T- shirt Poll

Post by MadKaw »

Ok, a question has been asked about business advertising on our KSRC T-shirts. A stated previously I asked Parramatta Kawasaki to be involved to hopefully defer some of the set up cost and possible problems using the Kawasaki name.

So far the t-shirts should not cost more than $25 each, they will get cheaper the more we buy so buy one for everyone you know.:-)
We are working on the design options at the moment so this poll is very important.

PLEASE VOTE AS AN INDICATION OF HOW MANY SHIRTS WE SHOULD ORDER.

IMO Having something official in terms of Kawasaki re-inforces KSRC validity, and having finally taken a look at their logo, it should loot pretty cool.

Plus if Wayne is willing to chip in a few $$$, well why not support the supporters.. No one else has shown as much willingness to back us.

P.S. I'll have a sample of the shirt logo in the next day or 2.

Here are a couple of samples, for a Black Shirt..

If a sponsor is included, the KSRC logo alone, would be on the front LHS pocket, and the dual logo would be for the rear.

Otherwise the bottom logo would be front LHS pocket, and back.

ok i did the poll...but theres a big "IF" clause..i said i dont mind advertising, but my IF is this..IF they contribute to this in sum way...now i kno they give u guys a discount, but so do sum others...and u ARE gunna b advertising for them..so how bout sumthin like this...
a. they put in sum $$ towrds website/ rebate towards the shirts ...
b. they sell them in the store (increase member base too) and profit goes to the club??

after the discussion on how the club needs $$ for bands who rock (or sumthin like that??) then how bout we see wot there willing to put in, as theres already a few places offering 10% discount...just my thoughts..
oh..i want a shirt too..even if i only wear it once a yr (at GP)

They idea is, they would only be on the shirt, if they contribure some $$$, which covers Dave's costs in getting the shirts set up.

It's not just a matter of advertise them for the sake of it.

2 for me.
black preferrable - but anything ok.
I don't really care if we have corporate advertising - so long as they help out a bit.

The next question that needs to be answered is..
Do we want a white background on the KSRC logo so the rider is black (as per the site one) and it stands out more, or do we go with the inverted colours as per Dans proposal..???

The Parra Kawi logo likes geat like that, I'm just not sure about the front KSRC one...

I'm thinking the front one should be on a white background, as it is small and needs to stand out more, but the back one is probly fine as per Dans proposal as it is large enough....???

IMO, a big white square would prob looks abit poxy.

My idea would be to invert it like that for Black shirts, and have it the normal way for white shirts...

Yep, I just edited my post, I agree with the back one. But you'll loose the front one in black.
I did a couple of Iron on transfers and the small white logo on a black shirt looks fine. Rob did a couple too and his looked great..

Remember with screen printing, they can reverse the colours, for white shirts, and we should be able to get a selection of white and black shirts in various sizes...

small one on front as per site logo sounds ok.
but as Dan suggest I think the back should depend on the shirt colour.
