Bugger Dave,
its a pity the Taipan can't be trained......love to train one to recognise me but spring outta the faring and bite any other bastard with in 5 feet of my bike. Spose a disc lock is the next best thing.

Pricks, but are you sure they where trying to steal your bike, looks like they where trying to peel the KSRC sticker off and the high quailty glue that was used just would not let go and hence you bike fell over.

Least u still have your baby even if its a bit battered. Just went thru the same thing, someone knocked over the 12R in a supermarket carpark. Just got an alternator cover from ebay in the states for $140 bucks delivered instead of the $340 kawasaki wanted. Check ebay for parts you will find just about everything.

Pricks! Really sorry to hear that man. I can imagine how angry it must have made you. Have you rung the cops to get it fingerprinted etc. just in case? Not that it will come to anything anyway, I have experienced first hand how much further down the priorities ladder that is from traffic offenses.

I really hope you can sort it out man, and if you or anyone else ever comes across the dirtbags......

Karnts, the lot of them. If any of us can do anything to help just yell out Dave. Was the bike locked away somewhere or parked on the street ?

ol trick I learnt years ago. Buy a BIG blinking red led from dick smiths and mount it prominent up front in dash, there about $6 and work as well as the full system as far as scaring off amateurs goes. Easy to wire em up to come on automatically when the bike is switched off

Thats an absalute Pissar Dave, But as the smart guys before me said Plastic welding is the go I even bought some stuff off ebay that would do it i reckon its powder & chemical that makes a new seal with the old plastic.
T'other thing to think about is a set or Raceglass & cut some Holes in it for the road gear. Barrabob (Beryl) got a set recently for $550 i think. It's gunna need paint anyway so why not set her up for a day at the races
