Got home last night to find my bike laying on it's side... :evil:

Looks like someone tried to steal it and when they rolled it forward, the disc lock hit the brake caliper and down she went... :evil:

At first glance, i'll probably have to replace the whole rear section but luckily the rest seems to repairable. :evil:

Did I mention :evil:

crap Dave, bet you would have like to get home just as they were laying their hands on it !

There is a mob called plastiweld who got a write up in two wheels a few years ago after doing some repair work on one of their long term bikes who should be able to fix the split.

Looks like they've moved to Ingleburn, shame, they used to be in Revesby and my partner works just round the corner.

Anyway good luck with it and be careful, they know its there now.

Think it's time to invest in a disc lock myself just in case some fucker tries the same on mine. sorry to hear about the bike Dave but at least you still have it is a little consolation...

Hopefully the fuckers get cuaght at the next job trying to knock off some HA's Hardley or something :twisted:

What sort of punishment do you get for nicking a bike? Is it slammer-time or just a slap?

get that duck tail plastic welded mate, hate to think what a stealership will want to order one of those in. Top fairing is $1000 ish from Kawasaki so i recon the ducktail won't be cheap either.

That 5 Dock area is pretty dodgy.. :-)

I know the guys at E.C. wreckers if you need any bits, but like I said in the PM, I reckon you can plasti weld the back... Its the painting thats a pain...

barstages.......at least they didn't take it, painting etc, will be a pain, you gotta get a shed to lock it up in now mate.....
