Should posted rides be labelled..?

yes - the organiser should state the experience req'd to attend the ride.

no - all rides should be open to all members

only newbie rides should labelled all others are open

Its up to the ride organiser who they want along, let them sort it.

The option quoted above is pretty much exactly what MadKaw suggested in the first place, and after all the *healthy* debate and opinions offered, it would seem to be the most appropriate and acceptable.

All we really need to do is grade the pack on their chicken strips :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: That'll fix everything :lol: :lol: and put you in the right *pecking* order (groan :roll: :D :D )

If ya gonna leave the ride point at different times surely you have 3 different rides ??

It's all about joining in and having FUN amd the only dramas we have had on Vic rides is when they have been posted on other forums !

As a thought for you all..........if you put all the newbies together........... who are they supposed to learn from ??

Mate if I wanted rules and regulations I would have joined netrider

There are no rules or regulations but like everything in this world there has to be some sort of guidlines and the options to discuss em...
If ppl don't want to discuss it, don't... We are always looking at ways to improve things here and the only way we find out is by having these sort of threads...

If we are to have specific noob rides that is not to say the experienced amongst can't go, quite the opposite. The more experienced riders the better to help out the others... it will just be at a slower pace and pissing of if ya wanna go hard isn't gunna help anyone.. They can also incorporate a maintenance or bike check prior to the ride... The more we can do to help newer riders the better things will be for all of us in the long run..

So it looks like things will stay as they are with the addition of noob specific days every so often... Sooooo, who's gunna organise em... :roll:

The other KSRC rule - never leave one of our own... (its also the pengiuns in Madagascars rule, but it suits...)

I am very happy to arrange them in the ACT, but no newbs here to the best of my knowledge....... only a coupla ZX10's (Team Crim, Mayhem), ZZR1100 (Briffa), ZX12 (Gos), ZX636 (Swabio), ZX6/9 (I-K), and probably 1 or 2 others I have forgotten :oops: ??

So you need a Vic organiser, NSW organiser, and Qld organiser :wink:

SA - perhaps Jase could look after the newbs, he will sure teach them the correct speed limits :lol:

I don't think I could vote in this poll without actually going on a ride or two first, but for what it's worth, the fact that diesel said his ride this coming sunday would be pretty cruisey made me feel like I could come along and not worry about not being able to keep up, or possibly getting in other people's way.

Now if by publicising a ride as newbie/250cc friendly you can get a guy to come along, what's the bet that more girls on 250s might also come along? :wink:

Im with Rossi , particularly with regard to the Newbie only ride . The rides all work very well with all levels of rider ability attending .
The levels of rider skill are much finer than just Newbie , med , and Fast .
I have been on rides where I have been a real Newb way down the back and other ride where I have been able to have a smoke before the TEC arrives .

The rides (in Vic) seem to sort themselves very well without any B/S in the organasional stages .

In Vic all posted rides are Newbie welcoming , I know that if a Newb turns up on Sunday (take note John H ) they will be welcome and not intimidated . Only waited for , check up on and given a little tip or 2 . :D
