A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

Something like that will stop a lot of people trying to ride off with their disk lock still on.

It's a disk lock that locks onto an adapter and is also a foot peg. So when you park, you use the key and take it off so it's no longer a foot peg and use it as a disk lock.ZZRCHIKKY wrote:please explain ????
You've seen a disk lock? It slides over a brake disk then an internal pin holds it there. You can only move the bike so far before it hits the forks and you can move any further.

Dunno about you Tones but personally i'm not looking to select a gear till i'm on the bike and ready to go, ideally way too late, having said that though, if I put left foot on footpeg that is non existent i'll at least know where the bastard is
Be a pain in the ares first couple of times till you got used to it I reckon as certinaly someone absent minded like me will have the glove, helmet et al on ready to go then engine started cluth in, first gear, hang on, am missing elft footpeg, shit, stop bike, take gloves off, take lid off, take lock off, reaseemble left footpeg, put gear on and restart the process.
