Well I have ignored all of the above and test drove an 03 a4 Quattro s-line 1.8t one owner with 89000kms on the clock and damn it's nice.... Seriously considering buying it...
You will want to have a big wallet if anything goes wrong with it ! I have worked on a lot of euro cars + the one you want ...

Hi , I now use penrite 0w/20 in my bike as the high tech was causing clutch shutter on higher rev launches .. the penrite "race oil" is also ester as is the V300 and other Motul oils . Very happy with it as its 67 dollars for 5 litres . :D

I dropped mine 6mm's and it made a very noticeable difference in tight corners with a 190/55 rear .

It could be the fuel pump has gone bad . The only other thing I can think of is the float bowl pressurisation pipe has fallen off ?

Hmm that article says ALL ZZR1200 cams pit. Interesting. I think I have ZZR cams in Eduardo- it goes harder and idles lumpier than Eddie. I don't think anyone has ever mentioned incorrect valve clearance causing pitting. I wonder.... Too loose by a large degree may cause the rocker/ cam to smash ...
