I was thinking along these lines and the 30cm rule stopped me..
I have been thinking of trying to paint them a red colour and wire in the brake light so that the brake lights use them..
what do you guys recon...?

I was lucky… read on..

I have a double car port and thought before my ride yesterday I would tighten up my new chain as getting a bit floppy...

I had the zzr on the center stand and done the adjustments... i was tightening the axle bolt back up and my spanner came off i lost balance a bit and ...

Thanks for all this....

I will defiantly try to be relaxed.... since I have had my L's, I have done over 6000ks' on the bike... so I hope I have enough time in the saddle...

Emergency braking really haven't practiced that too much yet.....
on the bike this afternoon..
U-turn I have that down.... the zzr can turn it even standing up straight...
Does it matter skidding you rear on emergency stop??

NSW P's test

OK after a few months on L's.... Sat is d day for my P's test...

I have done all the prep work and went down to the car park where they do it at Bathurst and did a trail run around... recon i have no probs..

Just got to rem those head checks......

Any other things i should look out for or ...

My mechanic finally has got back to me after i told him i really can't afford him to chase problems around...

But he has confirmed that big ends OK and Clutch OK and nearly every other thing in the bike ok...... hope doesn't cost too much...
except....
the carbie on the left side has come away ...

Has anyone got a electronic copy of a service manual on the carbie for a zzr250??

I do have a electronic manaul of a gpx250... i hope same carbies and i will be ok...

guys thanks for all this......


Stereo: i have replaced the spake plugs (no change)... the old ones seemed ok but one was a bit white though

i think white spark plugs means lean mix.....

I never had anything wrong with the clutch..
it has never slipped and engages well, not jurky...

the bike is still at mechanic will ring in the morning and have a talk with him.

why do you ask about the clutch?

So you recon do a carbie clean and drain fuel and put new fuel in might fix the problem....

I felt that the mechanic might be pulling my leg as i have heard big end bearings noises in lawnmower engines and in my old Subaru and the bike seemed fine noise compared to them....

the problem really ...

zzr250 engine not right

Hi Guys/Girls

Thought i would ask this here.....

my zzr250 i have had for about 4 months love it...
its done about 22k on the Speedo and it is starting to do some weird things..

when i am riding the bike it seems to surge at under load and has a bit of a louder humming noise out of the ...

Hey Glen might take you up on thoose exercises in the next month.

I am heading up to coffs harbour on holidays and taking the bike with me.. I hope to get a lot of riding in around the hills of Coffs.
