Did any one else hear about the huge accident in millpark.
5 people died instantly in a xr6, think it was 2 brothers, another brother, a friend, sister to 1 brother hurt
and i am not sure on the other.
just think that those families are going to be plagued by that for the rest of there life.

il think il just go with a 08 model
they look nice, most have under 15k traveled. and are usually 5-6 grand
just put a nice exhaust on it

have a look at the clearance centre then. the salesmen aren't too bad there. (they are like sharks at the main store). the older guy is the best. might get all your kit for a decent price. its a bit like aladdin's cave.

other good place for new riders is bikemart in ringwood.

What can you do?
lower speed limits,more speed humps, more this more that
just about every road where i live Richmond(melb) there are speed traps and humps on every bit of road that goes for more then 100m, and people still die. 30 years ago , yes im 17, but as my uncle says, they had none of this ...

Resale on 250's isn't bad because they are popular and relatively cheap to begin with.
I WOULD NOT be buying a brand new bike for my first one that's for sure!
No doubt you will drop it at some, or several points and if it's new, you will
spend more time crying than riding :cry:

I'm a inexperienced rider, and I'm looking to make my first purchase of a 250cc bike.
I didn't really want a thrashed cbr250, so I have been looking at the ninjas.
Wanted to ask if I should buy brand new 2010 model or maybe 09'. Or should i go for a used 08/07 bike.
