Re: Frame checking???
If u run a straight edge from the rear wheel to the front axle and measure the distance either side of the front axle it will give you a rough indication. if ur two or three mm dif ok but anymore id be worried. the best way to tell is to ride her. But i definately agree that Aldertons is the go they ...

Re: new rider cornering what am i doing wrong
Here's another take on all that. Aussies and those who learned to ride or spent most of there riding time in a country which drives on the left hand side of the road, will be more confident in left handers and those who did the same in a country which drives on the right hand side are better in ...

Re: The Lean
Casual ride sayyyy Mt white......Nice and relaxed esp upper body.
Ok here comes the corner....(lets say left hander)...Adjust speed with throttle and braking if nec (as we are at Mt white and the speed limit alows us to corner with very little brakes) slight shift of the hips to left side of bike ...

Re: chain
Just be carefull how you fit the chain, I prefer to rivet them and make sure you check the link with a vernier ( don't press them too tight )and that the o rings have plenty of lube when you fit the link.

Re: 04 ZX10 braking and overheating problems
The water pump is definaley worth a look into. Also on my 2010 zx6 I had calcification problems as Madkaw said and had to flush it six times. However it was filling the overflow and not letting it back into the radiator. But my 96 gsxr 750 was blowing the bottle and boiling water because it was ...

Re: 04 ZX10 braking and overheating problems
I'm not sure I spoke to him today and he's going to check a few things tonight. He's just got an overflow up in his duct tail. Just an OJ bottle I think
Ok make sure the overflow can breathe, race bikes have to breathe back into the airbox as thats the rules (stupid I think as we can only run ...

Re: 04 ZX10 braking and overheating problems
Its definatley not the fan, I would agree that it would be a circulation prob. as stated in another post the thermostat might not be operating correctly. Are you sure the guage is reading the correct temp, as i asked before is it boiling in the bottle? At 115 it should be, when you get back to the ...

Re: Close call - ZX10
Are they chassos (Chinese pazzo ripoffs)? They are renowned for doing this. In any case why it happened is probably because your new lever is not allowing the master cylinder piston to completely release the entire length of the stroke when you let go of the brakes. Brake pressure is building up ...

Re: 04 ZX10 braking and overheating problems
Ha, I just pm'd Wattie with the same question on the brakes, I was thinking master cylinder as it isn't radial, never thought about the calipers. As far as the over heating make sure when you flush the system that you bleed it properly as any air in the system will cause it to over heat. or could be ...
