So the sintered jobbies will definitely wear the discs quicker than the normal pads you stock then?

no quite sure
but SBS Brakes state this on their site..... (w)

NEVER use sintered brake pads in calipers originally equipped with NON SINTERED brake pads.

in that case there are a very fiew ...

That is what I have been told... I also read once some general info on maching the disk materials to the pad materials... from memory least wear you get is form OEM pads (and OEM replacements ...

So how long do you think it will be till you know if you can get sintered pads? It's just that I really want to put something a little softer into it, so it stops harder at the track etc. and also so it looks after the already borderline discs a bit more.

I can get pads for %99 of bikes sold here in Australia and some gray imports...

I have some pads in stock but... When I put in an order I have the pads within 48 hours and if I'm posting them out I do it theasme day I recive them... so If you pay for express post you can have them next day!!

I think I can get OEM replacement (ie. aftermarket) pads... $25 a set..

you will need two sets for your bike as it is twin disk front... so $50 + postage which I think is around $8

Michelen Pilot power 120/70 for: $160, 180/55 for: $230
Michelen Pilot sport 120/70 for: $170, 180/55 for: $240

They are brand new with all the stickers and slippery mould relese...
problem is I need $$ up front and there is a week wate b4 I get them...

Actualy I have a better idea ...
