I've got an E2 and would recommend -1 on the front as well as I felt it was too tall in 1st and 2nd.
Although I must admit that I have gone back to the standard gearing as I commute 8ok's every day and wanted the extra economy.

I've also worn glasses for the last ten years and don't have any issues.
It depends on the helmet though as some are more comfortable than others.
I normally use a Shoei and this is fine. I sometimes use an AGV which can be a little tight and pushes down on the glasses.

This is reallly handy for information on the bushfires.

http://sentinel.ga.gov.au/acres/sentinel/kml_data.shtml

You can zoom right in and even see what direction the fires are spreading.
