Hi mate, take the seat off and next time it clicks tap the starter relay to see if that makes it crank.

When you say ZX7 did you mean 1998 or it is a 1989 ZXR

ZX7 wont fit,you need a system off a ZXR J,K,L,or M.try ebay US or UK.I bought a Muzzy titanium set for my M for less than $100au including postage.

May be worth checking if the're the same as ZXR750's sometimes it's the same part with a different number that might be in stock.

Thanks for the info about the fairings.The bike is due to be freshened up soon,new fairings are on the list.Thanks for the contact info.It's good to see people still love the ZXR's and all the older sportsbikes.The New Era class has a great bunch of riders who enjoy their bikes.Good to see

Your right about the tail,all we could use with short notice(crashed) was a spare RS250 tail for free.
