thanks guys that's what I thought but just wasn't sure

Hi people over the last few days my little GPX 250 has started to pffft pop pffft pfffft wheeeezzzzeee when ever I back off on the throttle or change down and use some compression to slow the bike down or am just going down hill. Now I'm thinking exhaust leak because I haven't lost any power at all ...

that sounds like it i've taken some good advice and stuck tape over it....no more light...lol

woohoo at least I'm not the only person with this speed light....was starting to think I was a bit strange....lol

Hey Cwidova I'm in skye so I might just take you up on your offer and Stace i have already thought of the tape idea but the remove the globe didn't even cross my mind.....doh

I would if i thought i could take a pic of it while i'm doin 90 but since i've only been on a bike for 4 days now i'm not really that game to try lol

ok people I checked it out and it is definatly a speed light....comes on as soon as I hit 80k's no biggie I guess I'll have to find a way to disable it.

I think it's standard I'll take a photo tonight, if I thought I could take one at 85k's I would.....but that would be just stupid of me....

Thanks Mick, the light is definatly for 'speed' as it says speed on it and only comes on once i get above about 80k's....goes off when I drop below 80, I was thinking that maybe it's a throw back to when 'L' and 'P' platers couldnt or should I say shouldn't have gone over 80k's. It's such a pain to ...
