those are crap tyres. i would invest in a pair of gpr alpha-10's . they can really get your confidence going.
but then again ive seen someone scrape knees, pegs, and outride bigger bikes on the same tyres that were about 5 years old , and had absolutely no thread on them . all on a 93 fzr250 ...

guess i will just keep clocking up the k's until summer when i can go out and do a proper course and track day.
soo...things to remember...hang off as much as possible, tuck feet up, pick the right lines and most importantly have fun!!

I would have serious doubts to whether you can get a peg down on a 250 whilst still maintaining a safe lean angle on the road with BT45's.

sorted! turns out the spools do fit they were just super tight at the start of the thread

I just bought a rear stand from kaneg to use on my 08 ninja 250 and the 10mm spools they sent dont seem to fit, i can screw them in half a turn by hand but im not keen to use the allen key to force them as the last thing i wanna do is fk up the thread ;)
