Re: Your thoughts on a Crim.

I wouldn't called Smek's flogged. Far from it. Seen this bike and is very tidy as I am sure Mel's is. Smek is a pretty smooth fast rider which the 10r love

Re: Your thoughts on a Crim.

Bit overpriced..... Sorry heaps over priced considering it is unregistered.
I tend to agree now that I think about it. Plus it could be indicative of other issues (why didn't the dealer re-rego it?)

Buy smek's blue 10r Gumby. Less kms newer bike, less cash.
Someone link it for me please, I am on ...

Re: Your thoughts on a Crim.

I think that rig is a bit overpriced for a bike that is now 6 years and 3? models old though.......
That's what I thought, but Mels right, they do seem to be going for that money, and hence why I posted this, to try and find out what everyone thought.
Here's the link that I was using to try and ...

Your thoughts on a Crim.

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade (significantly) and have found a Black and Gold Crim in Brisbane that I'd like some feedback on:

Here's the BikeSales link for a 2005 ZX-10R with 40K on the clock for $9700 drive away.
I also got some more info from the dealer about the modifications (quoted ...

Re: Fuel efficiency...

Bike Model: '90 GPX250
Tank size: 17L ?
Best: 450ish(?) including reserve. Well over 400 slabbing it at the speed limit to Melb.
Worst: From memory about 320 including reserve.
Average: 350-400km (I regularly use the reserve, commuting to the city and back every day)
I fuel up every third working ...

Re: Buying GPX Advise for Newbie

Try going over the checklist mentioned in this thread: http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=28181
I think you'll find it'll fail some pretty big checks on that list. :(

It's not worth it, there are better ones out there, you just need to hold out for them (ala the one that I found ...

is there anything in particular I should be looking out for when I inspect the bikes?
That's not working try this one........ http://www.ksrc-au.com/html/bike_inspection.html

I'll just jump in here and say that I bought a 1990 GPX250 (red and black) with 25,000 on the chassis, about a year ago ...

Re: Who is getting helled for their ride?

I must have struck it lucky
I bought a bike, much to my girlfriend(now Fiance)s distaste, but she accepted that its something that i enjoy. I thought that the olds (mum in particular) would be against it, but no

+1, no problems here... She won't get on the back (even to go around the yard), but ...

Re: 12v aux socket

Hey Wayne,
I think I just bought the same kit you did off ebay for about the same price, and I was thinking of tapping mine off the horn (live when ignition is on, runs on a separate fuse, etc) but was wondering what you (or any other electrically minded people on here) think...
I don't ...

Thanks guys.
Will check it out tomorrow (just have to find things that I don't care too much for in order to fill the damn thing... Maybe a soccer ball or two ;) )

Cheers.

Re: Motorcycle offers at Aldi this week

Just went to Aldi Emu Plains (yeah, I'm a bit behind), and they still had plenty of the bags...
I've been umming and ahhing for a while, but I went ahead and dropped the $70 anyway.
What can I say? WELL WORTH IT.
When I first got the bike, I went to a couple of places in Parra and bought a tank bag ...
