Re: Tyre Repair Kits - Which One?

The Cargol Turn and Go kit is the best, there is a youtube video on it. I have used it twice, once on the car and once on the bike and they do work. I know I shouldn't have but I had the one in the bike tyre for about 1000 kms. Very easy to use and much more compact than the others.

Re: Pazzo levers

$215 delivered at Bike Gear Warehouse at the moment. They are good but if I had something else to spend my money on I would get that. As someone has already pointed out, if you drop your bike the long ones break at the end so the levers can still be used. My wife came off her bike a couple of weeks ...

Re: Kaneg May Specials..!!!!!

Good prices, I have had a set of similar stands 4 about 4 years, still going well. Recently purchased a pair of 90 degree valves from Kaneg, not cheap but fit my z1000 well. Service has always been good.

Re: Backpack's what are you using?

I've got an Ixon (bike specific) had it for about 12 months, I wouldn't buy another one, can not adjust the straps when on your back, wasn't cheap either. My wife who commutes has an Alpinestars backpac and loves it, she has had it for about 18 months and it is still going well it was about $150 but ...

Re: Bike Gear Warehouse - Great Service

I also think they are good, hopefully other businesses will follow their lead. Have purchased a number of items from them. I am not usually happy to be on email lists but enjoy getting thier emails and info about specials.

Re: Wire Rope barriers in Vic

I saw a car run into a wire barrier once. The barrier safely took the speed off the car, didn't push the car back onto the road and no one was hurt. It worked well. I know a lot of us hate wire barriers but if we run into one it is generally our fault, I would rather that than the armco barrier that ...

Re: SIDI BOOTS

Thanks for the advice. I purchased a pair of Alpinestar Supertech R boots. I don't use them for commuting they are for riding thru the hills, that might be overkill but if you could see the problems my mate has had with his ankle after a prang you mightn't think that, besides that, I have reached ...

Pazzo levers

Have fitted a pair of short Pazzo levers to my z1000. They look great, have done about 600 kms on them, probably not worth the money in my opinion, if you haven't got the money. I got them from www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au The service was very good and very prompt.

SIDI BOOTS

Does anyone use Sidi Corsa or the new Vortice boots for road use only. If so are they any good for that purpose. No doubt they are great boots but are they worth the trouble for road use only. I need a new pair of boots and up until now have used good touring boots but do not do much touring these ...
