hiYa Colette,
Sorry I'm not sure bout the 'capacity' of the bag - it is exactly the same as shown in Miss ZZR's pic though.
There was ample space for 2wk tour of Tassie, but gotta admit I also wore a backpack.
No probs getting on and off - seems a bit awkward at first but seriously, not an issue ...

Yeh Ive got the same bag as Miss ZZR - no complaints about the bag, but they're the clips I mentioned - watch em, cause I found they just don't stay clipped together.... pull on them and see how easy they unclip..

Waterproof covers

Oh, forgot to mention I'm pretty sure that these days you can buy waterproof covers separately for your ventura/gearsack bag! One of the girls on the Tassie trip had a couple spare that she sold to some girls in the group.

Steer clear of the plastic clips, IMHO

I think the best way is via the gearsac/ventura racks, sturdy and stress free IMHO, however if you are like me and aren't interested in the whole fitting of the rack thing etc etc. I think the best is a seat/pillion bag.
In saying that however, I own an RJays bag which is now great due to the fact ...

re: Arista Insurance

Hi All,
I'm currently with QBE Western, due to the fact that my options are limited because of both claims (for the car) and my driving history, and also due to the type of bike ZXR, and probably because of my age - I dont have the option of Arista.. but a friend of mine recently got her renewal ...

re: info wanted - good roads in tassie

We travelled from Hobart via Derwent Bridge, then to Queenstown, Strahan, Zeehan and Waratah - on the way to Waratah I recall seeing an old mine and the buckets overhead, however think we may have went though there too fast, and as such couldn't say if it was still operating?? Sorry cannot answer ...
