any tips about replacing the oil and what type is needed?

know ppl who have tried to change lanes while a bright red semi was next to them ( i was in the car ) people who dont bother to head check in the car wont see shit. With a lime green bike, i think flour is a bit redundant, just as the pic above says

I had the FI light come on, but this was becuase my stator was buggered and not charging the battery. Unfortunately no warning sign comes up untill you have hardly any battery left, happened to me about 20 ks into the national park; once the light came on bike died 1k later

anyone have any ideas of how much one of the stator covers would cost in Australia? I see one on ebay for $150 posted (new oem). cheers

ah ok, yeah wasnt sure. I didnt know there would be oil in and around the stator
definately worth to check for foreign objects, probably a piece of fairing in there

After a slow lowside one of the fairing bolts inconveniently put a hole in the clutch cover (black thing on the left side near the gear leaver) of my bike. Somne oil came out, I am wondering how much of a job it is to fix this? Is buying a new cover and bolting all there is to it or is there ...

happened to me also! at hte time the guy had a suzuki also needed the same thing. he had some light scratches on the cover, and i have also done a lowspeed lowside previous to it needing replacement. maybe a connection? i dont know, i had only 20k on the clock also

I sent it to the shop, hopefully they know this too still, 2 weeks to get it re wound is too long not to be riding

Now that's a hot bike! Totally agree, smooth lines yet still sharp and aggressive. And then those beasty twin underseat zorsts! Very nice, when I do go 1000cc, that'll be the bike I get.
