Hi All

Been servicing/fixing my gpz900r and know it wont start.
It has a flat battery but running jumper leads off a turned off car i get
all the lights/horn etc to work but when i push the start button
i get absolutely nothing. Not even trying to turn over?
Checked all the usual fuses relays.

I ended up getting the proper tool for $10.95 from local Kawasaki shop.
Suits the D size plugs.
Was cheap and no more messing around.

Just trying to change the plugs on the Gpz900r.
Purchased a motorbike socket/tbar but the wall of the socket is to thick.
Bike didn't come with the factory tool
Any ideas on a replacement tool?

For the parts i just rang the local Kawasaki shop and asked for water pump gaskets. You need the water pump gasket, outlet pipe oring and the rear oil seal on the pump. Cheap parts. New water pump was quoted $450 :shock:

I have a 1984 GPZ900 and while doing an oil change i located a oil leak coming from the top left side of the water pump. It was dripping out, so not good!

What is the best/easiest way to make a manual switch for an 1984 GPZ900?
It has the two sensors i think oil and water.
Bike gets hot in traffic.
