cool, all taken on board

re-assembled the bike and it wont start
its turning over and all, new spark plugs, leads are sparking (tested against the side of the engine)
im thinking its not getting fuel...as a guess. im at a loss though. i dont know where to start

i've got an 89 gpx 250 and im rebuilding the engine right now, but i dont have any valve problems...its an old worn out engine so if there is a common problem then i should be experiencing it too, right? i've just got the usual gasket problems

damn unless i can borrow those tools off people (a mate of mine is a mechanic) then i'll just clean it up and re-gasket it all and put it back together

i wouldn't have though a wire brush would be the best thing to use on the inside of an engine...might end up with metal shards in the engine...?

oil was black (newish oil too), coolant clear green, but the stuff that came out of the bottom of the radiator was naturally browner, normal i guess for an old radiator
