Re: zxr250 owners, ever had the cam chain changed on your bike
how many k's you got on the motor man?
i have 43,000 and the guy at the bike shop said the cam chain should be fine.
if anything you may just need to replace the cam chain tensioner.
why are you getting it replaced? is it noisey?

Re: U aint stealing my ZXR
hey kevin - to keep your mind at ease... the steering lock on bikes can very easily be jacked/ bypassed.
In other words they are almost pointless.
If you didnt know that then geez....
also get a disc lock and a chain.

But im wondering how much is actually normal.
I have a 1994 ZXR250 C model and you can hear the gearbox whining when idling. Once cruising it goes away.
The gearbox operates fine, goes through the gears fine, never pops out etc, but ...
