Hey Mark,
How have you checked the fuel pump and spark? Did you do anything to the bike before it broke? I'd start by pouring a bit of fuel down the carb throats and turning it over - if it fires it's a fuel delivery problem (switch, crimped hose, buggered pump or relay).

98 zx6r starting problem
I ride the bike nearly everyday, couldn't get it started Monday even after pushing it down a long steep hill and clutching it a few times. Bad mistake cause I then had to push it up that same hill! :x :x

Spark is good
Fuel pump is good

Why not take a lead from Melbourne CBD where motorcycles are allowed to park in certain footpaths. .......now Martin Place is quite wide isn't it!

Cheers Owen, was buggered when I got home, must do again...next time I'll bring some thermals and remember to close the vents on my helmet!!!
