She pulled out to overtake another car as the bikes were coming back onto the road from the shoulder. The driver in the car that was being overtaken claimed she must have been speeding as she seemed to come from nowhere.

I saw a red ute around then yesterday as we were slabbing it after the half way house, one of the riders involved on a gsxr was possibly riding with us through the first twisties before the halfway house? :?

Cheers Rob. It was a monster, almost sent me over the bars. I'm not sure if it's all in my head or not but the top of the bars doesn't look to be in line with the wheel. The price i pay for riding back tracks in search of some fun stuff! haha.

i'll take another look and possibly give your idea a go ...

Is it possible for the front forks to be knocked out of alignment by hitting a pothole and if so, how hard is it to fix?

The only time i've come off it was entirely my fault, target fixation followed very quickly by a panic and hand full of front brake.........followed by a low side and me sliding alongside the bike trying to hold it up off the road! haha i was trying to save my shiney fairings!

I don't know if i'd be staying away from the nasho for a while as you suggested, your only going to get better at it by getting more experience in there. I did alot of riding through there while i was on my L's and P's and i fucked up a few times, even had a little slide down the road, but i didn't ...

The rule is, you have to indicate when exiting the roundabout. So if you intend to go straight ahead you approach the roundabout with no indicator flashing then as you straighten up to exit thats when you indicate. I failed my P's test (car) for this very thing, the instructor took me thru 12 ...

I stopped in there last sunday and they've ruined the place!! Food was shit (hot food was actually COLD food) and the place has just simply lost it's character. PITS is definately the place to stop, honey mustard chicken pie's are the hot tip!
