Re: 1985 GPZ GPX 600r whats the diff
Chasis wise they are quite different. The engines are very similar, only real difference is the head on the GPX has better design valves & intake so is more powerfull (10hp). I'm not sure if a GPX head can be bolted straight onto a GPZ engine, nor if the CDI / rev limits are different, but most ...

Re: Oil Pump
Sounds like the cam chain is getting a bit loose. Mine did this for a fair while, really loud rattle for 10-30 secs. Then one day it stopped doing it, must have been the chain adjuster clicked out a notch. It was much quieter on cold starts from then on but i didn't use that engine much longer after ...

Re: ZX7R ROLL CALL HOW MANY ZX7R RIDERS HERE?
Just wondering where you got your Double Bubble screen from :? I have been looking for one for my 93-ZXR and haven't been able to locate one.
Sorry mate can't really help you, the screen was a lucky eBay find. If you're patient another might turn up but they gotta be pretty rare I would think ...

Re: GPz750R 1985
You should try your state library, the one here in Tassie has heaps of 80s & 90s bike manuals, they have one for my GPZ600R which has been quite handy. They are reference only but u can photocopy what u need :)

Re: ZX7R ROLL CALL HOW MANY ZX7R RIDERS HERE?
Hi Guys heres my `93 ZXR750. I've had it for 10 years & put about 50k Kms on it (84k total). Chasis had a full overhaul last winter & got a few small mods to do b4 next summer. New motor, 7R race style fairing, 10R front end, shock & wheels. Still looking for the wheels (late model ZX6 wheels or ...

Re: Yo!
Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I've got some pics of my ZXR uploaded at: http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/hh138/bypr0duct/ & I've attached a list of all the work done to my bike over the last 10 months.
I've grown really attached to this bike over the years & decided to do a no expense spared ...

Yo!
G'day to you all, I'm new to the forum but a long time Kawasaki sportsbike fan. I hate to admit it but I used to lust after a Fireblade when I first got into road bikes but that all changed when my neighbour bought a new ZX7R in `96. My blood has been green ever since! I'm 28, live in Hobart & ride ...

Re: ZX12r 2002 Model No Headlights
Hi all, been coming here for a few months, thought I'd finally register so I could add my 2 cents to this discussion.
I have a problem on my `93 ZXR750 where the lights don't always come on after the starter is pressed. I found out that by turning the key slowly back towards off it hits a point ...
