I bought my bike from them too.
Plus they looked after all the servicing and repairs until I moved to a different area.
I always thought Mick owned it? was that not the case?

Re: my musical Zed
My ZX10 does exactly the same thing. Lots of talk about it on ZX10R.net and its perfectly normal.
Loads of people have commented on mine doing it though.
I also mentioned it to the dealer I bought mine from and he also said it's normal.
Why is there excess pressure in their though? Shouldnt it be ...

Re: Tie-downs - Wasteland Style !!
Thanks Guys!
Gives me a few ideas to work with. Good to hear they are still going strong.
Gotta be better than the crossover handle bar straps which seem to be destroying my handgrips.

Bump!
I'm looking at making one of these for my 08 '10.
Just wondering how they are going in the long term, or if anyone else has made a set or found any improvements or problems?
Does it not need an R-clip or anything through it to stop it sliding around or is the tension from the ...

Re: "Your speed" Sign
Fake. Don't they only read up to 115km/h or similar?
Also the bike would be a blur at 315, looks too sharp.

Re: PLEASE HELP
So they supplied and fitted the replacement carbs for $300? Sounds reasonable.
Although $700 for a service is a bit steep, especially when they didn't even replace the air filter!! Did they not tune/balance the carbs for this price?

Re: screwdrivers. opinions please.
Kinchrome used to be perfectly good enough for the home mechanic, but it looks like most of there stuff is now made in China.
We use it at work and about 3 years ago bought 3 complete Kinchrome tool kits (biggish ones) We bought another one a few months ago for the same price, and it was much lower ...

Re: Dri Rider Nordic Boots
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the boots, for the price anyway.
I've worn them at least 5 days a week for 2 years and they are holding up great. I've never even treated them with waterproofing stuff either. I was gonna find some sort of elastic band type thing to hold my waterproofs tight against them ...

I thought steel caps were supposed to cut your toes off if have an accident?
Anyway, I wear AGV touring boots that are supposed to be waterproof. They are fine in normal rain, but if its pissing down and there is heaps of spray around, my socks get soaked. Some of the water must get sprayed up and ...

Re: ZX6R rear shock adjustment

Thanks zenodamper. Probably a bit more involved than I need to go for a bike that spends most of its life lanesplitting! At least I know it's something like where it should be, just got to find some twisties to test it out a bit better!

Re: ZX6R rear shock adjustment
Thanks guys,
So has anyone done much experimenting to see what the 'magic number' is? ie is 2 washers too much, or somewhere in the right region? The front height is standard now.

It feels like a brand new bike! I'm gonna have to learn to ride it all over again!
It tips in sooo much easier than before. it feels like someone has added an extra 20psi to each tyre! Much more responsive.
