Any luck on tracking down the cush drive rubbers?
I discovered mine today when I was giving the bike a bit of a service.
Gives me a good excuse not to clean the rear wheel seeing as im gonna have to pull it off. So it not all bad!

Re: ZXR750 H1 (1989) Intermittent starter issue?
Thanks for the reply, I have already done the starter switch. I just had to clean it out.
Its the solenoid, I pulled it out the other night, and just gave it a little clean up. It has not failed since. I am sure it will eventually die, but I hope to have a replacement for when that happens.

Its the starter solenoid by the looks of things. The battery is good, as is the charging circuit.
I will do the ring around tomorrow and see if I can get a new one.

I will pull the seat off in a minute and put the multimeter on the terminals. When the starter turns, its got plenty of go and starts no problem, even with the headlights on.

ZXR750 H1 (1989) Intermittent starter issue?
Hey guys,
I went to start the ZXR tonight and pressing the starter button either resulted in nothing, or a really quiet buzzing sound coming from around the fuses.
Would I be right to guess its a relay?

Give Ronnie's Parts Finder a try in the US. OEM parts from OEM manuals. A great site and customer service also.

Re: Which site do you use to search parts / buy? For ZXR750
Like every site on the net, none of them have access to parts. They are fine if you want a screw or a washer, but anything more than that for an older model and you are out of luck.

Re: ZXR H1 muffler question
I emailed teammoto, the ducts and the hose are no longer available. Surprise surprise!
I have seen Samco hose kits on Ebay, I would rather original but I will probably order them, they take 5 weeks to make aparently.
The bike is running fine anyway, its just that top hose is looking a little ...

Re: ZXR H1 muffler question
Yeah I got the small hose, no worries, the big one which runs to the pipe just above the headers is the one that cops the abuse from the heat, and is also the one which money cant buy!
I have emails team moto, I hope they can help out.

I cant even get a bloody radiator hose!
My factory muffler has cracked where the mid pipe bolts on. I will try get a replacement mount made up so I can put it back on the bike. Its not happy without the factory pipe at all.

I just lost 4 hours of my life eye balling endless ebay listings. Turned up nothing I need unfortunately. I will call Team moto on Monday and see if they can help. Thanks for the tip!

Which site do you use to search parts / buy? For ZXR750 (H1)
Hi all,
My old ZXR750 is back on the road after 7 years of waiting patiently in the garage.
I need a few bits, and I placed an order on http://www.xtremepowersports.com for a pile of genuine Kawasaki bits that I could not get locally for my '89 ZXR750 H1.

Re: Starting my '89 ZXR750 for the first time in 7 years, ca
Well some good news, I rushed home this afternoon, tore the tank, airbox and carbs off the ZXR, grabbed one of the fuel bowl screws and made it to the bolt shop just as they were closing and picked up 16 hex headed screws to replace the factory phillips screws.
Back at home, I carefully (for about ...

Re: Starting my '89 ZXR750 for the first time in 7 years, ca
I have to pull the carbs again for the fuel leak, so I will pull the tubes and give them a bath, I also stripped the head on one of the fuel bowl screws today, and I will replace all the phillips head screws with hex.
As a side note, I was about to dremel a slot into the head of the screw so that ...
