Re: NEW ACQUISITION TO SUIT SYDNEY WEATHER
Forget about it. They are the most boring things after five minutes! I've worked on Superyachts with Yamaha 1300 2 strokers and after five minutes you put them away.

You can't beat MAXIMA chain wax. It has bees wax in it and when applied to a warmed chain it stays on quite well.

Re: Anti fog insert & RainX, what's the go?
I think a silicon type cleaning spray would work quite well on a visor as it will displace water on the visor. I havn't tried but I think I will give it a go next time I'm caught in the rain.

Re: Where to buy a Tacho in Aus
Mate, give extreme creations a call if you are still looking for a tacho. They have some good digital tachos that are fully adjustable and can be intregrated into almost any machine.

Re: 2006 ZX10R brake question
Hi mate, I'll give you my two cents worth just incase you are not convinced or need some more info.
My 05 had brake fade real bad.
My first uprgrade was the brake lines. Double banjo etc.
Still same but not as bad. It took more heat to bring the problem to the surfcae and I noticed myself trailing ...

Re: Good ways to clean tyre
Mate, I use that water soluable degreaser in a can. I dont actual spray it all over my tyre but onto a rag and then carefully wipe the side wall to remove the tar and chain wax.
I use that crap on my rims too, the same way.

Re: 07 ZX10R Temp on Hot Days
Well, I know you guys all put up with it and thats fine if you shorten your oil service intervals, but I'm going to increase the cooling capacity of my coolant by retro fitting a GSXR 1000 Oil cooler below my existing rad. It beats getting a deep core rad made and spending thousands.

Re: Got my blacks, and looking for a new bike.
Matbe buying a 600 then for your first real sportsbike is a better idea. I mean, your only 20!
If you have never ridden a 600, then maybe you should go and test ride a few at some dealers to get an idea of what they're like, you would be surprised.
You could buy the 1000 but I've seen first hand ...
