Bought a 2003 ZZR 250 in about mid 2005 for $4,500..... Loved it..... Until I wrote it off in my first and only off ( Touch Wood)....... I came out of it with only a small fracture in the side of my hand...

With the insurance money was then able to upgrade to a 2003 ZZR 600.... in Mid 2006.... And ...

Yeah well unfortunately...(or fortunate I think).... I live in Brissy..And wont be going down to Melbourne anytime soon....

So going into Megacycle isnt a possibility.....

Yeah I have a few mates with Loud Pipes..... Sure some would be illegal...

I just dont want to attract unwanted attention....

I was of the understanding that that metal tags just states at what decibel the bike runs at.... Not what the loudest it can be....

Thats my interpretation of it.... I may be wrong.... May have to duck into QLD transport to find out that info then??

So no one has taken out the Baffles?????


Okay.... So does anyone know what the legal noise level bikes can run under?? You know how many decibels a bike can get too before it is classed as illegal???

I wont recommend any company.....

But just remember.... 9 times out of 10 you get what you pay for......

If its cheap on the pocket..... It probably is cheap quality....

And for anyone that Knows me.....

Of course it wasnt me.....

I am not that stupid....

I hear of too many Motorcyclist accidents everyday, so I wouldnt put myself at that sort of risk...

Just wondering if anyone has, or has owned a ZZR600 and has had the baffles/restrictors removed from the exhaust.....

I have been thinkin of going Aftermarket cans... But a Mate of mine who does Bike and Car Custom work can remove them for me for $100.... SO I figure why ...

On Sunday I am taking my brother in laws for a spin ... He has lost his licence so needs someone to keep it occasionally run...

Well... Any suggestions as to which 900cc or 1000cc is good for pillions.... And not really Aggressive on the throttle....

Thinking of trading in my 2003 ZZR600 in for a 04-06 ZX-6R ......

Whats everyones thoughts of the ZX-6R??

Is there anything bad about them that people dont like??

I have been riding now for just over 12 months... So are they suitable for a " still new ...
