Re: Kawa 2005 ZX6R Left handside gear lever

Time to buy some rearsets - more bling for the bike, and a change to move the pegs higher!

I would, but i aint gona be using this bike for the track anymore, as I just picked up a Daytona 675 Trackbike...

Plus, I just want something to tie me over for a couple months till I can look at fixing ...

Kawa 2005 ZX6R Left handside gear lever

Hi Guys,

Came down at PI on Thursday and snapped my gear lever. Unfortunately, all the wreckers that I have tried, have not got one.

Just wondering if anyone has a spare lying around from upgrading..

Let me know,

Cheers,

Daniel

Re: Front suspension

Ok, if Stewart did it and he comes reccomended you prolly have a good base point to start from.

At the Island tomorrow, when you start playing with the damping settings don't move them one click and try them. Move them about 20% of the range then try them. The reason is, realistically, most ...

Re: Front suspension

Daniel next time your at broadford go find stewart fron SW racing, he is usally up there, he will sort you out... As to the breaking technique, compress the level slowly initally, allow the brakes to bite and apply more and more force, this should allow the front end to absorb the compression in a ...

Re: Front suspension

I owned an 05 636 for 17,000klms with several track days on it including Phillip Island and Broadford. I ran around P.I. in the 46's and broadford in the 64's running BT014's and never had an issue! Provided you have the sag set properly and are not 100kg's+ yourself, then the issue isn't the bike ...

Front suspension

Hi guys,

I have come up with a slight issue with my 05 636.

I have been doing a couple track days lately, and I am finding under hard high speed breaking, the front end is shaking quite violently.

My last trackday was at broadford 2 weeks ago, and I actually got the suspension dude there to ...

Re: MY ZX636....

To answer the question on twin light, its actually a mod that I got off a friend that I met on a CBR forum.

Its a relay that hooks your low beam to your high beam, and a little box, that you can control the amount of power to go to the high beam. It will never be the same amount of light on both ...

Re: I wanna 10!

You will be fine with a 600.... I have had an 05 636 for more than 6 months, I am around 190cm, and weigh 86kg, and I love it... and obviously being a female, theres a good chance you will be even lighter, which means, better power to weight ratio...

I think another thing you have to be careful ...
