'That' Susie Underwood ZXR750R poster 1991 NWS

Anyone here who was a strapping young lad in the early 90s might fondly remember this poster from AMCN magazine.

Susie Underwood just happened to be a Penthouse pet from back in the day.

Does anyone have a better quality copy of this? This is a scan that a mate took from the original magazine ...

I'll always think Wayne is a legend!

Hi, I've decided to sell my nine and hadn't got around to doing this conversion so if anyone is keen on a 2000-2001 engine with 20,000ks on it, I'll put an ad in the parts for sale section.

Thanks for the feedback!! I've done a fair bit of looking around and it sounds like the Carbtune balancers are the money. They're not the cheapest ones, but not the most expesive either. Theres no mercury to spill, no glass to break and unlike guages, they dont need to be calibrated occasionally ...

Carb balancers - which is best?

I'm buying my Dad a set of carb balancers for his birthday (kind of like Homer buying Marg a bowling ball for hers).

They would have to suit his GTR 1000 and (preferably) also my 98 ZX9-R.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with these and which ones are best? Also can they be used for ...

Its a disgrace that KHI have not done something about this before now. Like someone said, it goes back to the GPZ900R and all sucessive incarnations of that engine.
My Dad is a Ulyssian on his third GTR and all have had the same problem. Its certainly not a result of thrashing the bikes thats for ...

OK, I've clarified with my mate who has had work done by this guy. His name is Ben Shaw and his business is called Extreme Creations and his shop is in Brookvale.

If anyone saw the crazy b@llshite red thing on the stage at last years motorcycle show at Homebush, that was it. Its barely ...

theres a guy in Sydney who has done it. I think his frame was actually a zxr750 not a zx7r, tho I am not sure. the implications would be the same. i think he calls himself Extreme Creations? he put a GSXR1000 rear end on my mates 91 GSXR 7/11. And he does very nice work, I must say.

oh, and the ...

my bad, of course you did. i just didnt put two and two together. you didnt need to space the rear sprocket cos the front one ended up being in the original position.

yeah, unfortunately i think i'm goping to have to come up with something different. it'd be a big job putting the C output shaft ...

thanx for the feedback guys! Unfortunately Mick C didnt mentoin his solution to the spacing out of the rear sprocket to align it with the new longer front sprocket shaft. I guess some type of fabricated spacers should do the trick.

not sure what i'm doing with my 9c engine yet. but if i decide to ...

...and i'm "suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure" the zx6 was develiped from the zx2! so then, why not a zx2/12??? theres no substitue for cubes, therefore what could be better that a 600% capacity increase. obviously it'd need a turbo and nitrous.

it has been done. i've seen a picture of a turbo'd, zx12'd, zx9r. It was a crazy looking thing. there must be info about it on the net. this thing had the standard zx9 fairings on it so i've no idea what mods had been done to the frame underneath the fairings. i think it is in the UK.

from memory ...

2001 ZX9 engine in a 1998 chassis??

Hi guys. My 98 C model is approaching 55,000ks and i'm just a little bit worried about the gearbox now that the kays are getting up there. Theres no missed shifts or anything like that yet, but i love the bike and wanna keep it for ages.

So I've bought a 2001 engine with 20,000ks on it complete ...
