When i purchased my bike, i got quotes of around $1800 for full comp insurance (28years old on L plates) from NRMA, Western QBE and so on. I was ready just to take the massive risk of puting 3rd party property on it for $150.

Hi peoples,

Been a while since i visited these pages, and thought i'd better give you all an update on my bike.

Called Famous Insurance, and they asked me to get a quote (got this from Parramatta Kawasaki), and let them know. Quote came in at about $3000....they called the guy who hit my bike ...

Oh well, need to talk to the insurer after an experience in the mt annan shopping centre car park last wednesday....

Arrived back at my bike and started to undo disc lock when i noticed a crack in the nose cone of my zzr250. Suddeny a voice from behind me says "don't worry i saw the whole thing ...

A mate and i went for a ride from Baulko to Lithgow today, as the first decent ride of my P's. Sorry i didn't post it, it was planned late last night.

We went out Bells line of rode and came back Great Western Hwy. Me on the ZZR250, he on his Suzuki GS500F (LAM approved)... Was an awesome ride ...

In regards to what Icebreaker said, i've heard the following information...

If i ride a bike on my L's that is bigger than i'm supposed to, i would have got a $74 fine. If i ride a bike on my P's that is bigger than i'm supposed to ride, i will have my P's taken off me....

Yeah unfortunately it is another 12 months before i can get a bigger bike....after 2 months and 4000km of riding my zzr250, i'm already hungry for more power....

I went for my P's test on friday and passed.
I can't beleive that the whole day came down to the pressure of the last 4 or 5 minutes, but i'm so glad that it's all over.
