Re: 2000 ZX9 - Any Ideas ?

Re: 2000 ZX9 - Any Ideas ?
It is a very strange thing for sure!!!!! - this basicly always happens when it is first run for the day - or after it has sat for a number of hours. (eg ride to work and ride home) - dosnt seem to matter what time of the day or what temperature it is either.

Re: 2000 ZX9 - Any Ideas ?

2000 ZX9 - Any Ideas ?
Hi,
I have a 2000 ZX9r which has served me well over the past couple of years (I travel around 1000Km's per week - and the bike has now got 145,000Kms on it) Anyway - it has really never given me any trouble until just recently. The bike has started playing up when I first start riding in the ...

Dont know if it helps or not , But I used to ride a 93 ZXR750 L1 from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and back every day (aprox 195Km round trip) and I was monitoring the fuel usage - ended up with an average fuel usage of 4.7 litres / 100Km or just over 60mpg.

Best Suspension Setup for 2000 ZX9R
Anybody know what the best suspension setup is for the ZX9r? I have the manual and have set it to "factory default" but I wanted to know what others have found to work. All this suspension stuff seems like black magic to me!!!!!!
