Well this is awkward.

I've run dunlop gp's, D211 slicks and pirelli sc2s.
After trying the Bridgestone V02s I'll never go back.

I grew up around that area but haven't got a road registered bike anymore. I used to burn up around Mt Hotham, Falls creek and Mt buffalo for kicks. The road from Mt beauty over to bright (AKA Bright Gap) is also a good ride if you're into tight twisty roads.

There's a few second hand ninja 300s getting around. If I were you I would grab a second hand bike an then upgrade when you can ride a bigger bike.

On here they have some information (whether its true or not) around the engine that's in this thing. its looking like it'll have more power than my xr6 all going to one wheel. I can't see most people even beginning to use this bike to its potential. Let alone keeping traction ...

Was browsing through some other forums and came across this. Thought I should share.

I had the original Dunlop Sportsmarts on my old 2005 r1. Bought the bike them on it, rode 3000kms on road plus 2 Track days at Broadford and they still had about 40% left on them.

So, just a bit of an update.
I spoke with my mechanic on Friday, he's sourced a 2nd hand camshaft from Sydney which had already been dropped in the bike. It's going back together today and should be going on the dyno pretty soon to fix some idle issues (Surges whilst the bike is warm)

Has anyone tried their wheel chocks and motorcycle ramps?
The chock looks to be same design as Monkeybones and only $70.

Caught up with my mechanic at Winton over the weekend. He thinks its most probably caused by previous owner(s) not getting their valve clearance done for financial reasons as one or two of the valves did need a bit of adjustment.
