Re: Suspension Setup
If looking at firmer fork springs is it worth sticking with a dual rate spring? I sorta figure its redundant if your looking for performance.

Re: zzr250 niche
Ill go with the ignorance then Brett. My mate's are telling me that slower corners suit sports routers but I like your answer more.

Re: zzr250 niche
My question being, is there a set of conditions where a softly sprung, prehistoric design, upright riding position and cross plyed motorcycle bike is at an advantage? (apart from on the Hume hwy)

Re: zzr250 niche
Possibly. I have had the bike and my l's since late August and the have had theirs for over a year and are both far more experienced and far better riders. I wouldn't say the zzr wobbles everywhere, just everywhere its moving.

Went for a big ride yesterday that incorporated the Eildon-Jameson rd. I have a 2000 zzr250 and was with a couple of mates on their 600s (r6 and 675). These blokes are frequently impossible to stick with until the road becomes a bit dirty.

Re: zzr250 suspension swap
Oh yeah and also where can you buy sonic springs or equivalent in Australia. Do I just have to overcome my fear of the internets and order em from the states?

Re: zzr250 suspension swap
Thanks for the reply guys. I had read that advice at some other places and I do intend to have a go. I think the springs may be pretty shot tho. I can almost bottom the out with a duff-man style pelvic thrust.
My question was more about swapping forks for something more adjustable if it is possible.

zzr250 suspension swap
Gday everyone. Have just got a zzr250 2001 with 7000kms to its name. I'm a reasonably fat so and so (95 to 105kgs depending on the season) and am finding the suspension too soft, especially the front. I am gonna keep the bike for a while so I'm wondering if you can swap the fork for something more ...
