Guys I wanted people's opinion, when I'm riding downhill through corners & bends it really feels like I haven't got good traction (rough blue metal surface but stable surface), but on the same surface coming back uphill I can give twice as much throttle?

Well I bought this bike second hand I don't know if the springs are original, the mechanic said "gee she's stiff" when he pushed down on the handlebars.

Did I tell everyone, my mechanic adjusted sag, said front forks were far to hard and the tyres had 40.
Felt like a different bike when I rode off.

Re gloves I saw a guy on you tube that had premium gloves with what looked like a wire mesh on the palm, he said it was the latest technology, does anyone know what brand they might be?

Thanks guys, I got the sag etc amended today, the mechanic said they front fork was far to hard, it handles much better, it used to feel like I was riding over railway tracks when I was riding on an undulated surface.
