Re: Check out my scoot .. :)

Nice to see more maxi scoots on the road, I'm on a Burgman 650 these days :D .

They're downright hilarious to ride, plus I can fit my handbag under the seat... No, wait!

I agree with esie - QRide is a good program (although I would probably prefer QRide with a LAMS type restriction for a year - but maybe allow up to something like an SV650/ER6 type of bike). But individual operators can suck beyond belief.

I'm almost tempted to say nowhere associated with a ...

Nice work!

If you're ambitious on the paint, I reckon try for something along the lines of the black/pink/purple ZX-7R jobbie!

Otherwise I'd say go either straight white or gold.

I love eTax, but ran into a bit of a problem this year. Did my tax after getting group certificates from 2 employers - then after it was lodged, got a group certificate for a company I worked for in 2004-2005.

They didn't pay me anything this financial year, and I didn't work for them at all. They ...

Saw one today, they do look much better in the flesh. Flipping huge bike though!

Kawasaki's nuts if they don't make a GT version with some bags, bigger fairing and some fancy bits IMHO...

Heal fast!

It's beyond me how so many people end up on the wrong side of the road just as a bike's coming past.

Glad you managed to leap off that bike and avoid damaging yourself Felix! I'm assuming that was the idea, at any rate?

Sadly I might have to wait a while to upgrade the bike, I realised I have a salary sacrifice which will cost me just about all my accrued annual leave, doh!

Ah well. Might be able to swing it still.

Blue huh? I was hoping you'd say that! I might come take a look earlier than I was going to if I can manage it.

zzrchikky, I'm not sure even Townsville would have helped last night... Freeway in the rain on a naked bike with vented gloves is apparently a bad idea, who knew?

What colour's that z750 Tanya? That's clearly the most important thing :D . Does sound like what I'm looking for.

I'll be coming to see you sometime soon anyway, need to get some warmer gloves after getting caught in the rain on my way home last night!

Depends on what they offer (or what I can get for it privately) on the trade in. Probably around $10k on road would be my upper limit at the mo...

I'll do the rounds of the Moss St dealers in a couple of weeks, but I think I'll wait a few months until I should be a bit more financial!

Oh, no new ZZR-600s left? Bugger, I thought they'd keep selling them until the bring out the old ZX-6R as the ZZR as per the states.

That would explain why I can't find any ads for them though!

Oh well. I'm thinking I'll probably try to find a 2002 or younger used bike anyway, losing the ...

You wouldn't happen to know how much the ER-6F goes for RG?

I'm not sure I could handle looking at the naked's incredibly ugly headlight all the time. Mind you I haven't seen one in the flesh yet!

Actual prices on new bikes

Howdy folks,

Anyone got any ideas on what a decent price on any of the new mid range kwakas is these days?

I'm half considering upgrading my GS500 to something a bit bigger now that hopefully I'm less likely to bin it than I was when I first got my license... Looking for something in damn near ...
