Ok, all done, stipped the wheels completely, polished the rims, then masked up polished rims and painted spokes etc. Im pleased with the result seeing as i did them out of a can. i did go to a good paint shop tho and get the right primer, tape etc. Also bought a nice new wavey disc for the rear ...

hi wessa, im emigrating in january to brissy, im gonna boil like a lobster!

i had a look through the skilled occupation list,

Ok, as you can see from my sig pic, the wheels on my 7r are a orangey yellow which were on it when i bought the bike. I want to strip them, paint the spoke and innerpart and polish the rims. So, do i polish the rims once the whole wheel is stripped, then mask the polished rims,and then paint? or ...

Thats looks pretty good as it goes.. I d like to see the z1000 looking like that in the Orange colour tho. With a few trick bits on it, it will be a real head turner imo. Nice to see kwaks are putting wavey discs on the new models as standard now too. :wink:
