Fred, Tigg,
pcked her up today (less lowering linkage which I might solve tomorrow) - obv been told to keep the revs below 4k for the fiest 1K so will do. One thing that I will admit in front of our lower powered brothers and sisters - while i love the position etc etc even after only 200 KM today ...

Rode the 2012 ninja 1000 and the ZX10R the other day (for some tme). out of both the new Ninja made me smile ...

Re: New tyres
Spunjbaall,
I know this is late - but stick to the diablos for the Z1000 - obviously shop around. I upped my rear to a 200/50 corsa. She rode much better and looked a fat arsed bike. Had to repalce my tyres in Darwin after a track day at Hidden valley - got fleeced, no where is more expensive.

Re: Zx14r stutter at 7000rpm
Hi all, I'm new in here, not new to bikes, recently bought a zx14r & only mods are a pair of yoshi r77 slip ons, the problem is , at 7000rpm in 1st, there is a very definite stutter, I'm sure it is ktrc as it does not do it when ktrc turned off ( just goes vertical)! turned off or in second gear, i ...
