I run the Power Race 2ct's and love them, I use them on the road and the track.

Chill Neka, i only pointed out that they saved the paint, not that they were invented to do that. Its just a bonus.
My real point was that the metal ones pictured in his link have damaged frame and or engine block ;) 'apparently?' But not mine.

Ive had the Delrin (plastic) ones before and they saved the paint work 100%,
but i've heard stories of the Ali' ones snapping bolts off either in the block or the frame when impacted one. Then the bike slides over the loose metal crash knob, damaging the fairings worse than if it had no knob to ...
